The Flexicon Corporation, a leading global bulk material handling system manufacturer, has an immediate entry level position opening for an energetic, detail-oriented individual to join our sales team. Responsibilities include estimating controls systems for various industrial equipment, direct response to customer inquiries, and support of internal and field sales personnel. Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates must also have good mechanical aptitude to understand the functionality of process equipment. Less than 10% travel is required.

General Areas of Responsibility:

• Provide electrical technical support to internal teams such as general information on standard control panel features and functions
• Develop quotations for custom control systems utilizing appropriate tools to formulate hardware cost and labor hours
• Obtain pricing from vendors on special controls components where required
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of customer requirements for quotations
• Support handover of quotation documentation to production team
• Facilitate communication between the production team and customers or the sales team as needed during fabrication
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers and the Flexicon teams as well as communicate directly with customers as needed

• Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision, adhering to deadlines and commitments
• Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously
• Ability to compile, review and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness and compliance
• Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials
• Knowledge of and ability to use standard computer applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Knowledge of and ability to use CAD drafting software
• Basic knowledge of PLC and HMI hardware is a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

• A two-year technical degree (Electrical preferred) from an accredited educational institute. Sales experience is also helpful.
• 0-3 years Electrical Engineering or a minimum of 3 years hands-on knowledge with Electrical hardware
